Apple and Carrot Zinger
3 apples
2 carrots
1cm ginger root

The apples are rich in vitamin C and the carrots are full of betacarotene to boost your immune system, while both contain potassium and magnesium to replace the missing minerals you lost the night before. The ginger will soothe the stomach and stop the drink being too sweet and sickly.


Honey & Banana Shake
1 large, ripe banana
1.5 cups milk (soy, almond, or regular)
2 tbs. honey 

Drink slowly, allowing your body to absorb the shake. Adjust the amount of milk to make shake thicker or thinner, depending on your preference.Also, the more ripe the banana, the stronger the flavour.


Berry Burst
1 handful of red berries
1 small banana
1-2 tbsp of yoghurt (preferably pre or probiotic)
1 or 2 mint leaves
1 glass of water

The berries are bursting in antioxidants and vitamins, mint and banana will help calm the stomach, as will the yoghurt, which also helps get the nutrients into your system.


Multi Fruit Wonder
1 apple
1 pear
1 small banana
1 cm ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1-2 tbsp yoghurt
1 handful blueberries
1 glass of water or milk (any kind)

Apple, pear, ginger, cinnamon and yoghurt all help calm the stomach. Blueberries are full of vitamins and minerals, and are good for nerve and brain cells. Cinnamon also helps to regulate blood sugar. The water or milk brings everything together and makes it drinkable.
